I love this time of the year, the chill in the air, the colour of the Autumn leaves falling from the trees! Toby's friend's family has the most beautiful Japanese Maple growing in their front yard. Just have a look at the colour, magnifico!!

Well Toby had his first official soccer match last week. The poor thing, in the first half not only did he get hit by a ball in the face which gave him a blood nose, he got winded by a ball in the stomach, twisted his ankle and hurt his wrist on the way down! Here I was thinking that this football wouldn't be as aggressive as Aussie Rules! By the 2nd half he felt better to play and managed to score the first goal for the season! Thoughts of giving up, GONE and one very proud Mum!
During the Easter break we went to the Dandenong Ranges. Nature rejuvenates the soul, especially with Autumn here. It's amazing what you discover!
Have a wonderful Easter everyone!
Snuggles & Cuddles!
Boys and their obsessions...in this case it's soccer, dirty feet, bruised knees and all!
It's starting to get chilly out there and the leaves are turning a golden hue....a beautiful time of the year to have family photos taken.
Black & White tells the viewer the story straight away without the distraction of colour. It can be classic or bold, moody and dramatic and can conjure an emotion to the story that's being told!
My friend's daughter Charlotte decided all on her own to donate her hair for people suffering with Cancer in the World's Greatest Shave! In her own words "I am only 7 years old and in Grade 2. I know how sick people can get when they have a yucky thing called cancer. I hope I can help them and they can use my hair to make a wig." To think someone so young would be so selfless to think of others. Charlotte and I shared a gorgeous photo shoot before her big haircut. You can sponsor Charlotte her at this address: www.worldsgreatestshave.com/charlotte van poppel.
The day started with sunshine in the morning but the Weather Bureau predicted gale force winds and rain in the afternoon right when I was to photograph this delightful family at the park. We decided to persevere and see what happens. Starting at the house which had the most beautiful south facing light, building blocks and playing on the in house slide. Trying to beat the rain, off we went to the local park, running with the balloons, playing on the play equipment, blowing bubbles and was about to finish up when down came the rain! Mother Nature was just on our side!
I've had the priviledge of photographing these little boys since they were knee high to a grasshopper! Their cousin has just moved here from overseas and what a treat it was to photograph all three boys in all their cuteness! The Mums are pretty cute too!
