Went for a visit to my Mum & Dad's place yesterday arvo for Father's Day. My youngest brother has the most cutest boys and of course you know who couldn't resist taking some photos! Sandy, I hope you enjoy them!
To all the Dad's out there.....!
To all the special Dad's, Pop's, Grandad's, Pa's, Step Dads, etc. have a wonderful Father's Day!
Spring is here.....
Oh how we've missed you sunshine, Spring is here!
Dreamy, sunlit images!
Tilly's still apprehensive about the water at the beach but loved running in the sand!
It was so nice to be down the beach in warm weather!
My son, wherever he goes, there goes the soccer ball!
"Symmetry"
Toby's favourite sport is soccer.....our backyard fences are starting to take a tole!
"Backlight"
A photographer's dream is beautiful lighting especially back light! It makes a photo look magical! The best time to photograph is late afternoon light or early morning light as it's soft and dreamy. Photograph the subject with their back to the sun, this produces an almost halo effect around the subject!
Impromptu Family Moments
I just love impromptu, unposed, just let it happen family moments like these!
An adorable one year old...
Turning one year old is such an adorable age, not quite walking but everything's an adventure as long as Mum and Dad are close by!!
Project 52 "Pets"
Ooooohhhh!!!! Can't half tell that I'm a huge animal lover....all shapes and sizes!!!
Project 52 "Walkies"
These two are best friends.....my munchkins!
Family Park Play
Ooooh there's a chill out there but still a great time for photos as the light is soft especially late afternoon. Had a gorgeous family shoot down at the park. What the kids didn't know was that the trucks they were standing and playing on were originally there's. Mum had donated them to the sandpit at the park. They had a great time!!
Project 52 "Blown Away"
Storm coming!!!!!
Project 52 "Bold Light"
Trying to get Toby to stand still for this shot of gorgeous wall light coming through the nearby closed curtain - not very enthused!!!
This is a very impromptu photo of Toby, split second timing before he jumped off the beanbag saying "Nooooooo"!!! This is what happens when you try to photograph your own family!!!
Looking back.....!
Looking through the archives and I just found this old shot of Toby....oh how much he's grown.....!!!!
Project 52 "Shadows"

Project 52 "New Best Friends"
Well Winter is certainly here, showers for most of the day today but the sun managed to just poke through the clouds this arvo so we decided to go to the park with some friends. Our dog Tilly just loves children and they fall in love with her as well.
Those adorable blue eyes....
It's such a wondrous time for the family when a new baby arrives, especially if it's your first. This little one is 8 weeks old and has the most beautiful, big blue eyes. Congratulations!
Project 52 "Freelensing"
Freelensing is a relatively inexpensive way of getting the similarly unique effect of an expensive tilt-shift lens, where the focus plane is thrown out of whack with the added bonus of natural light leaks. I'm just starting my "Freelensing" journey and it's quite hard to do but I love the effect. If you would like to know more about how to achieve this effect, just ask!
