In this age of social media and selfies and emphasis on fake beauty, I love to show Tweens and Teens just how special they are now. Online bullying, rumor spreading and unrealistic views of other people’s lives can have a strong impact on their self esteem. With this, I have started doing one on one Tween and Teen mini photo shoots.
I work with them to style a theme around their interests and their personality. We decide together which location they would like and it’s just me and them, having a chat about their lives and their opinions about life in general. They can either choose from my collection of vintage clothing or wear their own, whatever makes them feel comfortable.
