You’ve arrived home from hospital and your baby is settling in. Now’s the time to have a newborn photographer capture those first sweet images of your newborn baby. Those priceless tiny newborn features and movements you want to capture within the newborn phase.
My style is what you call ‘Lifestyle’ photography where I come to you in the comfort of your home, very natural with only slight direction from me. Not only do you have everything you need at arm’s length to care for your baby but older siblings can go and play or have something to eat when they need a break. As I like to photograph around 11.30am in the morning (as this is when the light is most brightest), I usually like to photograph the baby with their older sibling first to get these shots out of the way as toddlers usually have their nap close to lunchtime.
Your home reveals so much about who your family is at this special time. Don’t worry if your home is messy, I do not expect it to be tidy especially after introducing a new baby to the family. Going from one to two children is a learning curve, as each of you adjust to your new normal.
