I get a lot of people ask if the rest of the family can be in included in their newborn photo shoot. Of course, this is a necessity as I want to capture all of the emotion you have for one another and this new little life who’s joining the family.
You can have a family photo shoot inside your home. I have a look around to find the best available light and use a sequence of shots to include all of the family and newborn together such as:
Baby on their own (lying on their back, on their side, tummy time and macro shots of their tiny features
Little quirks or movements that your baby does
Baby with Mum
Baby with Dad
Baby with older siblings
Individual photos of the newborn’s older siblings as well
Family group together (usually cuddling on Mum & Dad’s bed)
Family pet
