With another 7 day lockdown here in Melbourne, I had to postpone a Tween Fine Art photo session this weekend gone, so I thought I’d share some photos from an old Tween shoot from a couple of years ago during Winter.

This is a forgotten age group for photos. Newborns become babies and children are photographed constantly. By the time your child reaches the in between age of (9-13), they're taking selfies of themselves to upload to social media to feel accepted by their peers. If you try to take a photo of your Tween, get ready for the look of "no way are you taking my photo"!!

It’s so important to not let these misconceptions of reality define who they are. My aim is to show them just how beautiful they are as themselves with a mini photo shoot and make them see that they are so, so special!

What better way to have a photo shoot than with your bestie. If your daughter is apprehensive about having a photo shoot on her own, she can bring along a friend and they can enjoy the whole experience together. The girl’s love trying on different outfits from my collection and deciding where they’d like their shoot to take place.
