Recently I photographed these best friends. What better way than to share a photo shoot than with your besties?
As it’s nearly Spring we wanted to find some trees beginning to bloom with Spring blossoms as a backdrop. I worked with the girls to see how they would like to present themselves in their photos, no forced poses or fake camera smiles but let them pose naturally. Having their friends watching on can be a bit daunting at first but they each soon warm to the whole experience and let their personalities shine through as they relax and have fun. There was lots of chatting and laughter, helping each other work out their next creative shot.
Giving your Teen some space to allow them to have some creative input can help them to feel like they’re in control of their own photo shoot. I bring with me a selection of clothing for them to choose from or they can wear their own clothes as long as they’re comfortable.
The girls didn’t want it to end and begged to go down to the local beach for a dip (yep the water was freezing) which they soon realised! Thanks girls for a really enjoyable shoot.
