You don’t usually think of the beach for family photography in Winter, however it might be the only time when the family can get together, especially if your children are now young adults. I photographed these beautiful sisters back in 2018 and was thrilled to be able to photograph them again. We started at my studio and decided to venture down the beach afterwards. It was cold but the girls were troupers.
Don’t put off having a family photo shoot during Winter as the light is stunning, we’ll just rug up. We had the beach to ourselves so the girls really were able to let their hair down and have some fun. In Winter the sun stays lower in the sky for longer and produces beautiful directional light throughout the day.
