I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful extended family for a family photography shoot a couple of months ago.
When you place your booking, I’ll work with you to find the best outdoor location for your family photo shoot, a location that your family loves to visit. This Mum commented that they visit the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne on a regular basis where they feel so happy in the serenity of the gardens. Not only that, but the children love the gardens as well where there is plenty to keep them occupied
Natural smiles happen when you keep moving, so we kept on the move walking around the beautiful gardens. I might occasionally ask someone to look back at me or position them against a great backdrop but I mostly go with the flow. It’s the family connection that I want to capture.
TIPS for PREPARING FOR A FAMILY PHOTO SHOOT
Have drinks and snacks available for the children
Bring along a ball or toy that the children love to keep them entertained
Neutral coloured clothing photographs well and have comfortable shoes should you need to walk a distance
Don’t dress to matchy, matchy, wear colours that blend together but not all dressed in the same colourway
Bring along some extra clothing just in case there are any accidents.
