It brings me so much joy when a returning client gets me to come back to photograph a new addition to the family. I photographed their first baby girl 2 years ago and they’ve now welcomed a beautiful little sister for her. We had to wait until lockdown was over, nearly over the newborn phase but older babies have so much personality and love to look at the camera!
Lifestyle photography is just that, photographing families in their own home using window light and documenting the love you have for one another. Very natural and simple where if you need time out you can relax in your own familiar environment. If you need to feed or sooth a spritely toddler, you have everything at arm’s length. There’s no time limit , I’ll stay for as long as needed to get those photos that you hope for. I bring a selection of blankets and wraps for you to choose from in neutral tones and either use Mum and Dad’s bed or I bring with me a beanbag to use as well. Mums don’t need to worry about what to wear either as I have a selection of dresses in various sizes you can choose from if you have nothing to wear. Don’t worry about your toddler behaving, they’re discovering their independence and you can never pose them as they have a mind of their own. I have a few different poses that make it easier for the toddler to handle your newborn and if all else fails have a treat handy.
You have so much going on with sleep deprivation and maybe some sibling rivalry, let me at least help take the stress away of having professional newborn photos taken.
