People comment that my photography looks so natural. I think the secret is making sure that the children are occupied and having fun. I give slight direction so as they know what to do and gently guide them to show the emotive moments during your photo shoot. You can’t pose children, you must let them play and enjoy themselves as their attention span is very short. It can be a split second glance or capturing them in motion, this is what lifestyle photography is.
We decided to head down the beach for this family photo shoot so the boys had lots to do. From building sandcastles, collecting sea shells, digging and looking at the rock pools, not only did they have fun but I think also Mum and Dad did too!
