The newborn stage, those first few months are so fleeting, it’s hard to remember them. This is such a raw and emotive time for new parents as you look in awe at your tiny baby. In fact most Mums will probably tell you they can barely remember when their baby was this small, epecially during those first weeks since giving birth. With sleep deprivation, hormones racing and lack of sleep it can be pretty taxing on anyone!
If you’re expecting, the ideal time to book your newborn shoot is during your 2nd trimester to guarantee that your photographer has availability around your due date. Most new Mum’s to be have a ‘“To Do List” and do not have time to think about booking a photo shoot again until the baby arrives. If you’re having a natural birth and of course don’t know when your baby will be born, I’ll pencil your due date in my diary and leave room around that date to make sure I can fit you in for your shoot.
